Mutare preacher Apostle Joe Daniels says good days are coming in the country before urging the Zimbabweans to continue praying.

Daniels made the remarks last Sunday when he was addressing his congregants at Gateway Church in the eastern border city, saying the Covid-19 pandemic also affected the progress of the country.

He said Zimbabweans are prayerful and they are peace-loving people.

“I see better things coming for Zimbabwe and as a country, we are better than what we think,” Daniels said.

“l was praying in the mountain and fasting when God revealed to me that better things were coming for the country.

“We just need to keep praying and one thing that God revealed to me was that we are a peace-loving country, a good reason God will bless us.”

The man of God said the Covid-19 pandemic has  derailed progress of the country.

“God always has a way to help us out of the challenges,” he said.

Daniels, however, urged men to respect their wives.

“As you all understand today is Mothers’ Day, let’s respect our mothers. If you don’t respect your mothers and wives, God will punish you severely,” he said.

The Apostle also took time to preach on one of his favourite topics — marriage.

“Satan is wreaking havoc in our marriages, so we need to keep praying so that we protect our marriages. I am always there for counselling,” he said.

Apostle Daniels said he is driven by passion for helping others.

Recently he launched a recording studio, Joe Vibes, in Mutare targeting disadvantaged youth in and around the eastern border city.

Through the Joe Daniels Foundation, the preacher-cum-businessman has been paying school and tertiary fees for underprivileged children and universities students.

Daniels said this week he will donate food to the disadvantaged communities in Odzi and some areas in Manicaland province.
