BY BRIAN NKIWANE FC Platinum head coach Rahman Gumbo has made three new acquisitions after releasing three players.

Gumbo has lured Itai Gwandu, who has been playing in Botswana’s BeMobile League.  Gwandu was at Mochudi Centre Chiefs, which was once coached by Gumbo.

FC Platinum have also swooped on the Kiglon duo of shotstopper Tsungai Mudzamiri and fringe player William Manondo. The club has recalled Ntokozo Tshuma who was on loan at Zimbabwe Saints.

Tendai Nyamadzawo is also back at the club. He was on loan at Masvingo United. FC Platinum offloaded Godfrey Dondo, Francis Kanda and Kudzai Kanodyiwa.

 

The team’s  Chairman Tadson Zhou told Standardsport the new acquisitions would help the club in their quest to land the league title.
