ZIFA posts US$2,4 Million loss

Sport
THE Zimbabwe Football Association (Zifa) are in the red to the tune of US$2,4 million‚ according to the financial report presented at the Zifa board meeting yesterday.

However, the thick volume report compiled by the Zifa board member finance, Elliot Kasu, was rejected by the councillors who said it was unconstitutional.

The report should be given to the councillors at least 30 days before the meeting. Meanwhile, Zifa Central Region chairman Patrick Hokonya collapsed at a Zifa board meeting in the capital on Friday night.

The 39-year-old football administrator is currently admitted at a private hospital in the city.
