BY OUR STAFFA one—week long art exhibition conducted by 25-year-old Kudzanayi Muza under the theme ART manipulations is currently running at the Rainbow Towers.

Muza is fascinated by nature as evidenced by his work and some of the imaginations inspired by his daily life. One piece that is attracting a lot of attention is titled Painful Tears.

“There are tears that other people shed but we don’t realise it and because they are many they end up being like a waterfall,” said Muza.

Muza was inspired and mentored by Misheck Mutonga who was his arts teacher when he was in Form One at Founders High School in Bulawayo. Muza temporarily taught Art at Gifford High School and the Bulawayo Polytechnic School of Applied Art and Design before he enrolled with the Chinhoyi University in 2007 for the Bachelor of Creative Art and Design (Honours) degree.
