Organisers of the show announced the line-up of performers on Thursday and applauded sponsorship they received from the corporate world towards the gig.
Musicians set to perform at the gig are Oliver Mtukudzi, Sulumani Chimbetu, Winky D and Munya Mataruse. The sponsors are Cell One Electronics, Mega and Stratia Beverages.
One of the organisers, Josh Hozheri, said they had enlisted artists that appeal to different age groups.
“It will be a show for anyone above 18 years. There will be something for the mature and something for the youths,” said Hozheri.
“Most of Mtukudzi’s fans are mature while Chimbetu caters for various age groups. Winky D’s music mainly appeals to the youths and Mataruse will come in representing the growing crop of talented young musicians.”
Mataruse said he was humbled to share the stage with big names in the industry.

“I have worked with Mtukudzi for many years and I owe everything I have done in music to him. I will be glad to perform with him again. Chimbetu and Winky D are good performers and I will benefit a lot from working with them,” he said.
One of the sponsors, George Chiraya of Cell One Electronics said they were glad to support the gig.
“We realised that it is good to support artists and their events. Artists always complain that their industry lacks sponsorship and that is why we are coming in. It will also be a chance for us to market our products. There will be various give-away prizes for revellers,” said Chiraya.
