The swimming pool, which was non-functional for more than 10 years, is now working thanks to the renovation works through assistance from Innscor.

During the same time, the soldiers were doing their drills at places like Les Brown pool.

Major General Martin Chedondo thanked Innscor for their generosity.

“I would like to thank Innscor for what they did, for it would have taken us a long time to repair the swimming pool,”he said. He added that the swimming pool would be used for the benefit of the soldiers and civilians.

“We are looking forward to organise competitions on this pool that will include the army and everyone,” Chedondo said.

Innscor Chief Executive Officer, John Koumides said it was it’s corporate responsibility as a company to take care of the army which protected the nation and hoped that the gesture would cement their relationship with the army.

The cost of repairing the swimming pool and other buildings around that area is believed to have gobbled around US$100 000 according to Pool pump and Filter centre, the company contracted to do the repairs.
