STAFF REPORT

NicozDiamond managing director, Grace Muradzikwa told journalists on Friday that under the package dubbed ChristianSure, the insurance company was donating 10% of all the premiums made by individuals and businesses to charity as part of its corporate social responsibility programme.

She said it was up to the individuals and businesses to nominate the churches that would receive the 10% premiums. The package, which also served as part of the corporate responsibility programme, had already benefitted a number of charitable organisations that had received schools fees, generators, beds, text books, groceries, furniture, classroom blocks and computers.

Meanwhile, Muradzikwa has urged the police to enforce laws requiring public transport operators to take passenger liability laws insurance cover. She said most passengers involved in accidents were failing to get compensation because of failure by commuter transport operators to take the mandatory passenger liability insurance cover.
