It was Magacha’s first time performing in the United States. Previously he had staged shows in the United Kingdom in cities that include Lutton, London and Leicester. He has been travelling with his producer Joseph Madziyire.

During his tour of the United States, Magacha shared the stage with talented songbird, Shingisai Suluma for three consecutive days at the annual Celebration Church Conference that was graced by thousands of worshippers.

“Various producers, musicians and fans from Texas enjoyed the shows,” said Madziyire.

United States-based promoter Joseph Ruzvidzo said he was impressed by the turnout to the show.

“We did our part in terms of marketing, but we didn’t expect this much of a big turnout. This is nothing but grace,” said Joseph Ruzvidzo.

Madziyire, who is also the current Zimpraise Interdenominational Praise and Worship group chief executive officer, recently came up with the Saba Music label to market Magacha’s music. He said Magacha’s music was simple but very powerful among fans.

“Our next stop is Australia. The tour is coming sometime this year. Plans are underway and soon we will be announcing dates” he said.

Magacha said he was humbled by the support he got from the Zimbabweans in the United States adding it was an amazing reception.

“My greatest moments on stage here were when the crowd sang along to my songs. This shows how my music appeals to fans, both the beat and lyrics. It is always good to know that the word of God is being spread out there,” said Magacha.
