It is the state case that on March 24 2013 at 7:30pm Ndebele stormed Better Future Supermarket in Bulawayo and produced a pistol before ordering everyone to lie down.
He closed the shop and allegedly instructed the till operator to pack all the money in a plastic bag.
Ndebele also allegedly robbed the till operator of two cellphones before disappearing with US$1 000.
On March 29 at 9:30pm, the state says Ndebele allegedly arrived at Umhambi beer garden where he again produced a pistol before demanding cash from the barman.
He was however disturbed by other patrons forcing him to flee with a bottle of Chateau brandy.
