The Mighty Warriors came from a goal down to beat Egypt in an international friendly here in Cairo yesterday as the two teams wrapped up their preparations for the African Women Championships qualifiers set to begin next month.

Zimbabwe will begin their campaign with a first round first leg match away to Botswana on the weekend of February 14 to 16 while Egypt engage Tunisia in Tunis the same weekend.

Following their 3-2 win over the Mighty Warriors on Wednesday in another warm-up match, Egypt were looking to complete a double over the visitors with another win yesterday. The plan looked well on course for the hosts as they took a 32nd minute lead through Anoha Tarek who directed an Engi Ahia freekick into the nets.

Zimbabwe however hit back in the second half through strikes by Emmaculate Msipa on 64th minute and second half substitute Merjury Nyaumwe five minutes before time.
