Dynamos’ blunt forwards will be under intense pressure to impress against Black Rhinos in this afternoon’s Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match at the National Sports Stadium.

Strikers Washington Pakamisa, Anesu Gondo and Patrick Khumbula will be under spotlight to convince the club’s technical team that they should not be offloaded in the current transfer window.
Injury-prone and highly misfiring Simba Sithole has been ruled out of today’s encounter with an injury.
Sithole leads the firing line with no goal this season as Pasuwa’s charges are pressing for a fourth straight league title.
Farai Mupasiri has provided no hope at all while Clive Kawinga has tasted very little action in his season blighted by injury.
The highest scorer in Dynamos’ frontline is Gondo who boasts two goals both scored against Harare City in April.
Dynamos are the lowest scorer amongst the league’s top-eight teams with 11 goals from 13 matches, an uninspiring scoring rate for defending champions.

Gondo, Pakamisa and Khumbula share four goals between them, the same managed by defenders Eric Chipeta, Quadr Amini and Ronald Pfumbidzai although mostly as penalty kicks.
A Dynamos steely defence which has shipped in six goals, the least in the league so far has however covered up for the strikers’ shortcomings.
The return of Rodrick Mutuma, who however is eyeing a return to South Africa, and the arrival of Congolese forward Fabrice Mbimba is almost certain to see two forwards being shown the exit door. Team manager Richard Chihoro is trying to wade off pressure from the team’s strikers.
“No one is going anywhere,” said Chihoro. “I know there is need to beef up our attack because, yes the available strikers are not scoring as much as we would want but there is always room for improvement and I believe they will pick up in the season’s second half.
“We are creating numerous chances as well as getting into scoring positions but we then fail to score.”
This afternoon, DeMbare face a Black Rhinos side that is eager to escape relegation and has avoided defeat thrice in their last five games including holding FC Platinum away.
“We should not underrate Rhinos. We are not reading the log table lest it will fool us because no team is weak in this league. We have to up our gear to ensure maximum points,” said Chihoro.
Tafadzwa Rusike will miss today’s match due to injury.
Meanwhile, Highlanders will be out to return to the top of the log when they face in-form How Mine in a Bulawayo derby at Barbourfields this afternoon.
