The long wait for self-proclaimed King of Zimdancehall Winky D’s 10th album Gafa Futi: Chi Extraterrestrial finally ended on Thursday night when it premiered on a local radio station and it has so far attracted wide attention.

The 12-track successor to yesteryear compilation titled Gafa Life Kickstape had created much speculation as to whether it will reach or surpass the magic trait of songs like Disappear and Gafa Life, which made the Ninja President a hit last year.
Social media were red-hot and his accounts are bursting with comments, mostly positive, from the moment of release as fans registered their thoughts on the Oskid-produced songs.
Songs like 25 had already struck the right chords among fans at live shows but only time will tell if all the other songs will live up to expectations.
This follows various failed album attempts by Zimdancehall big names like Soul Jah Love, Seh Calaz and Killer T, whose trial to repeat last year’s wonder album through the Pari Tricky collection album was futile.
Having released his album after heavy weights Oliver Mtukudzi and Jah Prayzah, the “Gaffa” appears to be finding his way up the ladder, if comments online are anything to go by.
