Super-sub Obadiah Tarumbwa scored a second half brace, including a controversial injury time winner, as defending champions Chicken Inn completed a double over 10-men Dynamos and beat them for fourth place in an entertaining Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match at Rufaro Stadium yesterday.

The Glamour Boys, who began the season with a 3-0 defeat to Chicken Inn, concluded a miserable season with a 3-2 loss, settling for their worst league finish in over a decade – fifth position.
New-found striker Godknows Murwira scored a first minute opener before Darryl Nyandoro drew the visitors, level in the first half, while young striker King Nasama rose from the bench to score Dynamos’ other goal.
Dynamos coach Lloyd Mutasa, as well as defender Marshall Machazane, were given marching orders early in the second half, a factor that tilted the encounter into Chicken Inn’s favour.
Assistant coach Murape Murape chided matchday referee Norman Matemera in his post-match interview.
“There is nothing to say on the match because you all saw what happened; the referees had a good game today.

However, it is disappointing to finish fifth, but also we have to look at the positive. We are coming from number 15 and finishing number five is much better than where we were,” he said.
Murwira scored the first goal with the very first attack of the game, side-footing Valentine Ndaba’s cutback into the far bottom corner
Nyandoro restored parity midway through the first half when he curled in a beautiful freekick from the edge of the box.
Dynamos could have taken a healthy lead into halftime but the crossbar seemed determined to steal the limelight, keeping out Takunda Sadiki early in the match and Simbarashe Gorogodyo on the stroke of half-time.
Mutasa was sent to the stands by Matemera four minutes after the restart for remonstrating against Murwira’s yellow card.
The turning point of the match came when defender Marshall Machazane was sent off for a second bookable offence in the 64th minute after hacking down Tarumbwa and four minutes later the former Bosso player gave the visitors the lead.
DeMbare were back on level terms two minutes later when Nasama rose the highest to head home Murwira’s inviting free kick from the left side. Tarumbwa grabbed the winner a minute into stoppage time getting to the end of Teenage Hadebe’s lofted pass as Dynamos’ claims for offside fell on deaf ears.
“We came here just to collect three points and finish in the top four. We were fighting Dynamos for the top four and we got what we wanted and it’s tough luck to Dynamos,” Chicken Inn coach Rahman Gumbo said.
