Some of the socialites who make up the cast include 98.4 Midlands FM radio personality Victoria Nanny Eternal aka Dj Dynamyte, Clara Dube, Murari Hwingwiri and Gumbie Chinook. The film’s storyline is about a wealthy businessman, Chirega, who double-crosses college girls who are themselves best friends. Out of frustration, one of the girls, Candice, seeks solace from her auntie who runs a shebeen.

While staying at her auntie’s place, the innocent girl ends up sleeping around and consequently contracting the HIV virus. She blames all the mess on Chirega and the story reaches its peak when she vows to revenge and fight the business tycoon to the bitter end.

Youthful Dj Dynamyte, who features in the film as an innocent girl called Dora, is also caught up in the thick of things and ends up being raped after being forced by financial difficulties to swim in the murky waters of immorality. Scenes of the film vary from college set-up, family institutions, workplace and ghetto life.

Film writer and director Lloyd Mudonhi told The Standard Style that the film intends to dissuade young girls from giving in to pressure exerted them by the economic challenges.

“We all know that these are hard times and the economy is bad,” he said. Most of our girls who are innocent are, thus, falling to pressures of life and end up indulging in multiple sexual relationships just to try and find money to survive.

Hwingwiri, who features in the film as the wealthy businessman, said from his experience as the Gweru district Aids coordinator, he was confident the film would be an eye-opener for vulnerable girls.
