Felukia, a percussionist, vocalist, marimba, mbira musician and professional dancer, told The Standard Style from his Norway base that the production, whose debut was at the Afro Arts Festival in Bergen in August, was “an electrifying and dazzling piece of art”.

“The production comprising of contemporary dance, folk dance, music, hip-hop and theatre highlights the beauty of Zimbabwe, its different tourist destinations, Zimbabwean culture, events, hospitality including the unmatched hedonism of the stunning yet elegant beautiful flora and fauna, as well as being a great place for investors, travellers and nature enthusiasts,” he said.

“The money raised on #Great Zimbabwe production would help kickstart the launch of the first Afro Arts Dance and the International Dance festivals and some of our new projects in Bergen.”

Felukia said they had to market Zimbabwe despite its poor economic situation. —
