Fast-rising South Africa-based gospel musician Phebion Tagarira recently launched his fourth album titled Munamato Unesimba at AFM Abundant Life Assembly in Durban, South Africa.

Local songstress Olinda Marowa and gospel musician Trymore Bande were among those who travelled to the neighbouring country for the event.

Speaking to Standard Style from his base, Tagarira said he was excited that he launched his five-track project that also features Olinda and Bande.

“I am glad to announce that I susccessfully launched my fourth album and would love to thank Pastor Olinda and Trymore Bande who travelled to South Africa to be with me on the day,” Tagarira said.

“Moreover, I was not expecting such a capacity crowd and would love to thank gospel music lovers in South Africa for the support.

“I am confident that this album will be a blessing to many given the response I got from the crowd who attended the launch.”

Songs on the album include the title track, Imhepo Rudziiko, Ndangariro (featuring Olinda), Zino Irema (featuring Trymore Bande) and Changamire.

Tagarira (26) said he decided to launch the album in South Africa to honour his fans because most of them work and live across the Limpopo.

Tagarira kick-started his music career at a tender age when he used to sing at ZAOGA functions. He released his debut album Mwari Wangu in 2013 before adding another one Tipe Kutenda two years later that featured Ellen Anderson. In May 2017 he released another album titled Zvedenga that received fair airplay on

Diamond FM in his home province of Manicaland.
