Villagers under Chief Musikavanhu in Chipinge are living in fear following a spate of murders.
The murder cases have continued to rise over the past few months starting around May this year, with three cases of people who were murdered in recent weeks.
Villagers said they were now afraid to fetch the wood, and walking in secluded places because of unknown people who have been ambushing people.
Ziyanai Mudenga was found dead in a gorge, followed by another recent incident which occured in the Nyazvikari area where two young children disappeared mysteriously and were never found. — Knowledge Mhlanga Makamera
