WOMEN empowerment leader pastor Abigail Magwenzi (pictured above) says God is going to raise an army of women in Zimbabwe, who are going to spearhead economic development with men in tow.
Magwenzi said this at a recent one-day conference organised by Red Lipstick Revolution in Harare under the theme Dealing with the issues hidden in the tissues.
She also challenged women to stand up and do business notwithstanding the hostile economic situation prevailing in the country.
The pastor, who is also the Red Lipstick Revolution founder, urged women to emulate the Biblical Deborah who stand and rise.
“God is going to raise an army of women, who are going to spear head the economic situation with men following,” she said.
She gave an example of price increase, in the country and encouraged women to have something to charge.
United Kingdom-based Pastor Rita Gumbe of Refinery House Ministries, who was one of the guest speakers, advised other women to have a good relationship with God in order to be successful in their endeavours.

She testified that after making a relationship with God everything changed in her life.
“I encourage women to know your children’s calling,” she said.
The event was packed with different testimonies of social life and developed businesses.
