One of Zimbabwe’s leading insurance companies, Zimnat, has appointed Elizabeth Rabvukwa as the new MD for Zimnat financial services with executive oversight over Zimnat asset management.
She takes over from Munyaradzi Javangwe who joined Sanlam Life Zambia.
Rabvukwa, who was chief operating officer for Zimnat Life Assurance prior to her new appointment, also takes over as the executive director of Zimnat Asset Management, replacing Oliver Lutz who also left.
“As the Zimnat group is looking at its growth agenda for the coming years, I am confident that Elizabeth will continue to surpass expectations in her leadership journey,” said Zimnat Group CEO Mustafa Sachak.
Rabvukwa is a qualified chartered accountant and holds a Masters’ in Business Leadership with Unisa School of Business Leadership and an Executive Leadership course with GIBS.
“I am excited and looking forward to this new challenge,” Rabvukwa said.
“We are living in a time bursting with opportunity while laden with real challenges, but I believe we have the best team to ensure we maximise on the business opportunities.”
