The album has songs such as Huyatigare, Imbainorema, Mabasa Erima, Masiziva, Sorry and Mwari Wenyasha.

The Kadoma-based musician launched his album on Radio Zimbabwe on Friday.

Moyo told Standard Style that he was teaching people on their day-to-day experiences in their homes, hence the title Nyaya Yakanaka (A Good Story.)

“On the album, our message is about people’s day-to-day experiences,” said Moyo.

“So, if we teach them through music that is a good story, hence the title Nyaya Yakanaka.”

The 11-member band recorded their fifth album titled Kusekerera Ipapo in 2018.

Moyo started music in 2005 when he recorded his debut six-track album titled Ngazvive Zvenyu.

The album did well and it motivated him to do another one the following year titled Chimvana Changu, which had some videos.

“My entry onto the music scene was amazing as my first album did well, which pushed me to do a much more better product. So, I recorded the second album a year later, which also had videos,” Moyo said.

The 38-year-old artiste has in the meantime shifted to mining as he awaits the green light to do live shows.

Government has since banned music live shows as part of measurements to contain Covid-19.

“Having been hit hard by the deadly Covid-19 pandemic which restricted us from doing physical live shows, l ventured into mining,” Moyo said.

“We are hoping that government will soon allow us to perform even under Covid-19 regulations.”
