An upcoming gospel musician, Rutendo Chigwada, is on cloud nine following the release of her latest single titled My Pillar.

Chigwada told Standard Style that she will release more music and is working on the album to be released early next “My plans for the coming year is that I have to record more songs and get many people to know my music. My aim is to release my first album next year,” she said.
The single song My Pillar is receiving fair airplay at local radio stations across the country and the song is on position 10 on the Power FM Gospel Charts. “The song is getting airplay on Power FM and it’s a big honour,” she said.
“I want to thank Zimbabweans for their support, it shows that people are listening to the Word of God.
“The song encourages people to believe in God in these difficult times of Covid-19.”
The musician said she got inspiration from Sharon Manyongaise, a former member of the Zimpraise Choir.
“I am inspired by Sharon Manyongaise, the gospel artiste who used to sing with Zimpraise,” she said.
