Mutare-based gospel musician Jairos Mutambikwa has released two singles with one of them a collaboration with a Mozambican artiste Brighton Angels.

Mutambikwa collaborated with Angels on the song  Jehovah Ndauya Kwamuri while the other song is titled Nezuro Handinhasi.

The Victory Melodies band leader said the collaboration song with the Mozambican artiste was a move to take his music regionally.

The song has a Pasada genre and was done in four languages English, Shona, Spanish and Portuguese.

The musician confirmed the new development to Standard Style on Friday.

“I have released two singles, one I did with a Mozambican artiste Brighton Angels, he is a very talented musician and is recognised in his country.  My song with Angels talks  about repentance, because some of the sins are committed not knowing while others are deliberate,” he said

“The song was done by two producers Peter Muparutsa and Celso from Mozambique,” added Mutambikwa.

“Collaboration with such renowned musicians will help take my music regionally and go international of course,” he said

The musician said he is planning to shoot a video very soon.

On the other song Nezuro Handinhasi, Mutambikwa described it as appealing to everyone.

He said the song is apreciative of God that He can change our lives.

“Zuro Handinhasi is apreciating the work of the God, that He is faithful, He knows our plans before we do anything,” said Mutambikwa.

The song is already receiving rave views across various local radio stations.

“I am happy with the response I am getting from my fans and other stakeholders,” he said.
