BULAWAYO-BASED Afro-pop singer and dancer Mzobanzi “Mzoe7” Mlauzi has collaborated with house and Amapiano music producer “DJ Pressure” in a song titled Spiderman released on Saturday.
Mzoe7 told NewsDay Life & Style that the song depicts Spiderman’s Amapiano dance moves.
“We have officially released a new track titled Spiderman, which is a feel good dance song,” he said.
“Spiderman has been trending especially in South Africa so we decided to celebrate the African hero who is behind all dance moves. Due to this COVID- 19 people are depressed and need good music that will make them feel happy.”
DJ Pressure said they were inspired by videos of Spiderman that have gone viral on different social media platforms adding that he chose to work with Mzoe7 because he is a good vocalist.
“The song is for fun, but based on Spiderman playing Amapiano music. We are inspired by the video clips which were being edited by people,” he said.
He said fans should expect more music adding that he will be working on an Extended Play set to be released before year end.

“I urge my fans to listen to the Spiderman song and expect more music because I will be introducing more artists to the genre. I will be giving fans many genres like Afro beats and Zimdancehall hall as my aim is to give my fans what they want apart from Amapiano.
“I’m currently doing an Amapiano track with a 10 years old girl named Terry so I hope everyone will accept her in the music industry,” he said.
