A self-proclaimed Chiweshe prophet is in trouble after he allegedly raped a13 year old girl, who was on her way home from school after she fell sick.
The matter came to light at Bindura magistrate Court, where Noah Ngiriro was remanded in custody last week.
Prosecutor Tracy Dube alleged that sometime last year, the complainant started to experience some health complications and her grandmother would escort her to the accused for help.
During last year's second term, the complaint started feeling dizzy while on her way home from school.
She was in the company of a friend, who left her alone and rushed home to inform her grandmother.
The prophet took advantage of her sickness and dragged her in the bush where he raped her.
The matter came to light when the complainant relocated to the next village and told her sister about the incident.
The sister told the complainant's father who escorted her to the police station to file a report.
