A FIFTY-FOUR-year-old man from Chiweshe has been caged after raping a 12 year-old girl on separate occasions.

Prosecutor Tracy Dube told the court that sometime in May, the complainant's mother wanted some vegetables from Katakure, and he advised her to send someone to collect them,
She sent the complainant.
While in the garden, the convict tripped the minor to the ground and raped her once.
On June 4, the complainant went to the complainant's makeshift bathroom to relieve herself and the convict followed and raped her.
The complainant told her mother about the abuse and Katakure was arrested.
