A HARARE woman has sought a protection order against her son whom she accuses of controlling behaviour and violence.
Brigdet Chigwedere said her son, Tariro, always turned violent whenever her boyfriend visited her Avondale home.
“He even warned me that if I continue seeing my boyfriend he will kill me,” she submitted.
Chigwedere said Tariro has pushed her to the edge, and once considered committing suicide.
“I now live under abuse and harassment,” she said.
Tariro disputed the allegations and instead claimed that his mother is the one emotionally abusing him.
“She acts strangely,” Tariro told the court.
“As a celibate man I am not comfortable with how she behaves, and I am planning to move before she causes harm to me.”
