Spirit Embassy founder Urbert Angel has allegedly been accused of rape by two unidentified victims.
The case was reported at Borrowdale Police Station under case number RRB 675622 on Tuesday.
Sources said in the first case an underage girl was led by one of the religious leaders, who is Angel’s former friend to report the matter.
Angel allegedly tried to seek the protection of a Zanu PF benefactor and senior politicians who gave up after a second report involving another minor girl was made by another girl, led by the same religious leader.
There were reports that the church leader had already left the country.
Angel has been accused of rape in South Africa and Britain, where he has a church.
