Knowing your identity in Christ is very crucial

Jeremiah 29:11 (BBE) 11. For I am conscious of my thoughts about you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope at the end.

Jeremiah 29:11 (BBE) 11. For I am conscious of my thoughts about you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope at the end.

God knows the plans He has for you, plans not to do you harm but for your future. It is never a mistake to be born in the kind of family or circumstance you are in. Everything was well planned and thought of by the creator. Jeremiah 1:5 (AMP)

  1. Before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved of you [as my chosen instrument], and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you; [and] I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.

This is a powerful scripture that clearly shows us how God is related to our destinies. Before you start worrying about how things are going in your life, you must make sure you are conscious of God's plans and intentions for your life. God has already put in place a good plan for your life. So never underestimate your prophetic destiny or feel sorry for yourself. What you need is just to identify who you are in Christ and start praying for God's plan to be fulfilled in your life.

2 Kings 7:3-4, 6-7 (KJV) The story of the four lepers is a remarkable example of how people who are hopeless and rejected by society are able to transform history. It does not matter how bad your physical, financial situation is.

The lepers themselves felt very hopeless and were clueless of the destiny which they carried. It is the very leprosy that infected and made people to reject them that made them to be at the right place at the right time.

It is their desperation and hopelessness that God used to defeat the whole army and up to now we all read about their story. So no matter what you have gone through in your life, even if you have been rejected, that downfall you are in might be the one to catapult you to your destiny Genesis 50:20 (MSG)

  1. Don't you see, you planned evil against me but God used those same plans for my good, as you see all around you right now--life for many people?

Out of the bad situation you are passing through always try to find how you can help others through your experience.

1 Samuel 1:10-12, 14-15, 17 (CEV)

Hannah's story is another example which shows that everyone carries a prophetic destiny. Hannah's barrenness for so many years pushed her to go continuously to the temple to pray asking for a child. Pushed by the way she was being treated by her husband's second wife, Penninah drove her to the edge.

Hannah prayed deeply that even the high priest Eli noticed her as he thought she was drunk. Hannah's deep sorrow made her to make a covenant to God that if God was to give her a child she would hand him over to the temple.

This was her destiny as Samuel was destined to be a Prophet who was to take over Eli and be the first priest to anoint the first King of Israel. Sometimes what you think is your problem or weakness is the one which the Lord will use to unlock you into your destiny. Begin to search yourself that problem which you are facing maybe you are the one who has will find the solution to it.

That injustice that happened to you, you are the one who will support others passing through the same thing and who knows it might grow bigger than what you think. Many Non-profit organizations and foundations are created by people who passed through something traumatic in their lives and would also want to make a change in others.

(Romans 8:29-30 (MSG) 29. God knew what he was doing from the very beginning. He decided from the outset to shape the lives of those who love him along the same lines as the life of his Son.

The Son stands first in the line of humanity he restored. We see the original and intended shape of our lives there in him.

  1. After God made that decision of what his children should be like, he followed it up by calling people by name. After he called them by name, he set them on a solid basis with himself. And then, after getting them established, he stayed with them to the end, gloriously completing what he had begun.

For example the story of Moses also illustrates how your life is not a coincidence. It shows how God carefully thinks about you and orders each and every step. Moses' prophetic destiny was to deliver the Israelites from the Egyptian slavery. Everything that happened to him was not a mistake but was just building towards his prophetic mandate. God saved his life when he was a baby when all the Israelite boys were being killed. Maybe you survived during birth or survived a very bad accident or illness.

Know that your survival is not just a coincidence but you here because you still have a prophetic mandate to fulfill, search deep inside you and find your purpose.

Matthew 16:21 (CEV)

  1. From then on, Jesus began telling his disciples what would happen to him. He said, "I must go to Jerusalem. There the nation's leaders, the chief priests, and the teachers of the Law of Moses will make me suffer terribly. I will be killed, but three days later I will rise to life."

Jesus Himself knew His prophetic mission. He was always speaking that he was to destroy the temple and rebuilt it in three days. This was a symbol of His dying and rising again within the 3 days. This was Jesus' prophetic destiny, to save mankind and restore man to the first Adam. He never diverted from His mission. Jesus knew when he was to start His assignment.

So you should know who you are supposed to be and the timing should also be correct. Even if it takes time never give up on your destiny. Jesus started His Ministry at 30 years and His ministry only lasted for three years but Jesus in those three years made a lasting impact.

When you identify who you are in Christ always do the best even if you start late in life or do it for a short season. Do the best and make a lasting impact.

2 Timothy 2:20 (AMP)

  1. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also [utensils] of wood and earthenware, and some for honorable and noble [use] and some for menial and ignoble [use].

Clearly from the above scripture there are different functionalities in church or in life in general. Some are Pastor, Apostles, and Prophets etc. However there are also vessels that are used every day and can go without being noticed.

These are people who are usually behind the scenes. Gifts like intercessors and administrators and cleaners in church.

They are hardly in the limelight but these people are the ones who organize everyday life and usually makes other people's lives easier. If you are amongst this category know your prophetic destiny is really making a big impact and you are so important.

Even those who are in the limelight shine because of people who are dedicated to make things happen. For example they are the ones who organise crusades for man or woman of God to preach and pray for people. People get delivered because of such sacrifices. God has separated you for this calling. You are part of the prophetic destiny

Romans 12:4-6 (CEV)

As the body of Christ we should never fight for positions but rather we must complement each other. Each and every one of us has a prophetic destiny and no one is a mistake.

Hence everyone has to ask the Holy Spirit to give, teach and reveal to us who we are and gift given to us by Him so that we fit well to the body of Christ in order to fulfil our Destiny.
