ZIMBABWE announced their arrival on unfamiliar turf of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Sub Regional Africa Qualifier with a 76-run Duckworth Lewis win over Seychelles in Nairobi, Kenya yesterday.

Openers Brian Bennett and Tadiwanashe Marumani scored half centuries each, 91 and 86 runs respectively after captain Sikandar Raza lost the toss and was put in to bat first.

Raza weighed in with an unbeaten 36, Ryan Burl (23), Dion Myers (19), Wessly Madhevere (13) and Tashinga Musekiwa (12) not out as Zimbabwe put up a commanding 286/5 in 20 overs.

However, the match was reduced to a 6.1 overs and a revised target of 95 runs and Seychelles scored 18/2.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe Women's cricket team hosts USA Women in the second of the five-match One Day International at Harare Sports Club this morning.

The Lady Chevrons took a one nil lead with a five-wicket win in the series opener last Thursday.
