My Dear People
The much-touted tour of public hospitals by Scarfmore is a desperate publicity stunt that is well past its sell-by date.
The tour to Parirenyatwa and Sally Mugabe hospitals by the Scarfed One to witness the consequence of the criminal neglect of the health sector by his dispensation of poverty, darkness and confusion is a case study in hypocrisy.
The claim that the octogenarian was shocked by the parlous state of public hospitals is an insult to the intelligence of the citizens.
The pathetic state of public hospitals has been well documented ever since the Scarfed One was barrelled into power through guns and tanks.
That Scarfmore has decided to visit public hospitals eight years after taking power amid fumes of gunpowder is reflective of the shocking levels of incompetence that has permeated the halls of power ever since the callous removal of the wisdom imbued Gushungo in that dark year of 2017.
For Scarfmore to express shock at the catastrophe in the health sector when his regime has failed to allocate the required 15% of revenue to the health sector in any given year speaks of the alarming levels of detachment within the so-called second repubric.
For Scarfmore to express shock at the deterioration of public hospitals when his wife has been the ambassador for the health sector since 2019 is deeply embarrassing and shameful.

That the Scarfed One is expressing shock at the dilapidation in the health sector when his deputy minister Sleiman Kwidini has declared progress in reviving the same institutions points to confusion within the corridors of Munhumutapa building.
The nonsensical revelation that Scarfmore did not use his noisy motorcade when visiting the hospitals is no compensation for all the lives that have been lost at these health institutions because of this inept regime who have no qualms exceeding the budget allocation for luxury vehicles for chiefs at the expense of the health sector.
Though the octogenarian has promised to improve the health sector, I, your good doctor, am not holding my breath that this will happen given the well tabulated record of failure by the octogenarian.

The recent farcical by-elections in which the ruining party Zanu PF won all four of them has exposed just how useless the various factions of the opposition party Citizens Coalition of Change are to the body politic.
In the constituencies in which the elections were held including in Gutu and Insiza, the opposition party with its various factions failed to even field candidates to contest the by elections in what is evidence of how the party has wilted since Nero left the party after it had been hijacked by that buffoon Sengezo Tshabangu.
It seems the factions led by Welshman Ncube and Jameson Timba are only good at barking for the funding for political parties that participated in the fraudulent 2023 elections and making banal utterances in the media to remind Zimbos of their existence. Tshabangu , of course, did not field any candidates as the puppet in chief of the Scarfmore regime added with futile hope of getting a cushy position in a government of national unity.
It is comical that the leader of the opposition in Parliament cannot even field candidates from his own party for by elections which is the bread and butter of politics.
This shows, without a shadow of doubt, that Tshabangu is nothing more than an imposter placed in parly to give a semblance of opposition.
It is little wonder that some political chancers are making a beeline for Nero as he prepares to form his political movement as there is no hope for any political relevance among these factions which have failed dismally.

The hearings for Gukurahundi massacres in which more than 20 000 people from Matabeleland and Midlands were killed in state sponsored violence will be held this month, we have been told.
It is reflective of the lack of seriousness of the regime on this issue that the hearings are only beginning after almost a decade since Scarfmore announced that he will address the issue.
The decision for chiefs, who are beneficiaries of various trinkets from the regime including luxury vehicles, to lead the process has already cast doubt on whether this process will be impartial and give the victims a fair hearing.
The calls by chief Charumbira for the hearings to be held secretly is already a huge red flag. Why the secrecy in an event that is meant to give closure and accountability?
Why is the National Peace and Reconciliation Commission not leading the process?
It seems the whole process is just a smokescreen meant to give the impression that something is being done to address what is a painful and traumatic past.
The continued destruction of plaques put up in memory of those who perished during this dark period has left a bitter taste in the mouth.
It is criminal for the regime to make a dogs’ breakfast of such a crucial and sensitive process.
