Letter to my people: Reading Sona using torch a new low

The pathetic levels of brown nosing by the excitable fella did not end there as he  also called Scarfmore “a torch in the dark”.

My Dear People

The power outage during the state of the nation address (Sona)  by the Scarfed One has completely eclipsed the piffle espoused during the annually held snoozefest.

The outage that occurred during Ngwena’s speech has prompted hilarious and downright preposterous reactions by the various bootlickers of the Scarfed One who had to read the rest of the address under torch light.

Leading the way was the regime loudmouth and former nurse Nicky.

“Even a power outage couldn’t stop a determined president from fulfilling his duty.

A single torchlight in the dark Parliament became a powerful symbol of his tenacity,” he gushed on  microblogging site X in an embarrassing attempt to ingratiate himself to his octogenarian boss.

The pathetic levels of brown nosing by the excitable fella did not end there as he  also called Scarfmore “a torch in the dark”.

Even Jakobo was crying more than the bereaved vowing that the culprit behind this monstrosity of switching off the lights during Ngwena’s monologue ‘would regret the day he was born'.

In an act clearly designed to appease the Scarfed One, the ZETDC acting  managing director Abel Gurupira has been suspended for the mishap.

Whatever the reason was for the power outage, the incident was emblematic of the dismal leadership failures of this dispensation of poverty, darkness and confusion since it was ushered into power by guns and tanks.

That they cannot keep the lights on even for when the Scarfed One addresses the nation, shows the extent of the rot within this so called second republic!! It was a monumental disaster no matter, which way you slice it.

 Munopengaaa!!!

Amid the wreckage of that disastrous Sona was the shocking revelation by the Scarfed One of the number of bills that are yet to be presented ,never mind passed ,during the lifespan of this Tenth Parliament.

The bills still to be presented despite being presented in previous parliamentary sessions include Teaching Professions Council Bill, Electronic Transactions and Electronic commerce  Bill, Standards Bill, Biological Warfare Bill and Rural Electrification Fund Amendment Bill among a slew of others.

“The total backlog of outstanding Bills is unacceptable,” the Scarfed One lamented.

However,  given that he complained about this in vain  during last years’ Sona  the plea will likely fall on deaf ears .

Not that this is surprising in any way, shape or form. What does one expect from a Parliament that has been bastardised by the imposition of unelected bozos disguised as members of the opposition?

It would be foolhardy to expect any progress from parliamentarians that threaten Mthuli with not passing the national budget unless their personal needs are met.

It is indeed a sign of naivety to expect this useless lot of parliamentarians, who have been excoriated by Jakobo for failing to present coherent debates in the no so august house, to present and

pass crucial bills.

It is nothing short of daydreaming to expect parliamentarians who have been criticised by Jakobo for sleeping during debates to present debates that have a huge bearing on the livelihoods of the country’s citizens.

To imagine this Parly, which is arguably the worst the country has ever had, to present and pass bills timeously is similar to expecting snow in Zimbabwe.

Munopengaaa!!!

The bombing of the Sapes Trust’s seminar room just before it was to host a discussion against the attempts by the regime to extend the vapid leadership of Ngwena for another two years beyond the term limit of 2028 by pulverising the constitution  clearly shows that democracy has gone to the dogs.

It surely makes a mockery of the Ngwena slogan: “ The voice of the people is the voice of God”.

It is such shameful incidents which are used to justify the sanctions imposed on the regime by the United States .

Indeed the intended silencing of those who oppose the hideous intention of the regime to entrench Ngwena’ s leadership by fair means or foul is a damning indictment of the this coup cabal and shows yet again that the disgraceful removal of Gushungo had nothing to do with enhancing democracy.

That in this day and age press conferences  that speak against the mutilation of the country’s supreme law for self-serving interests can be banned andi its  venues bombed , is clear evidence that the country has been turned into a banana republic.

This is why I travelled the length and breadth of this country to warn you against this probity deficient and callous lot.

This, my dear people, is what you celebrated for as you danced wildly in the streets in that dark year of 2017. As tempting as it is for me, I will refrain once again from saying I told you so.

 Munopengaaa!!!

The recent by-elections have once again exposed these useless variations of the opposition party Citrizens Coalition for Change(CCC) .

It is shameful that these factions led by the likes of Jameson Timba and Welshman Ncube could  not even be bothered to field candidates in polls held in Gutu, Mangwe Rural district and Chimanimani but screech themselves hoarse when it comes to getting their grubby hands on funds for political parties.

Talk about giving opposition parties a bad name!!
