A Sanyati-based widow, Abigel Piason, claims she has finally found peace after experiencing a series of unexplained disturbances which she believes were caused by evil spirits.
Piason, a mother of five, said the troubling incidents began while she was living in Chakari, forcing her to flee to Sanyati in search of safety.
However, she alleges that the disturbances followed her even after relocating.
“I was in deep trouble. While I was staying in Chakari, I was being tormented by what I believe were evil spirits. Stones would mysteriously hit the house, and groceries would be emptied without anyone touching them,” she said.
According to Piason, the situation became unbearable, prompting her to seek the assistance of Glendale-based traditional healer Sekuru Nyangatayani.
“The torment became too much, so I engaged Sekuru Nyangatayani for help. He came and conducted cleansing rituals at my house, and since then, things have returned to normal,” she said.
Piason’s sons, Francis and Alison, said they also witnessed the alleged bizarre occurrences and described the experience as traumatic for the family.
“At first, I thought these things were just myths, but when our mother came here, we witnessed some of the strangest events of our lives,” said Francis.

“Since Sekuru Nyangatayani intervened, the situation has greatly improved.”
Alison echoed similar sentiments, saying the family had lived in fear before the intervention.
“We were in serious trouble, but after his intervention, there is now peace in the household,” he said.
Sekuru Nyangatayani confirmed that he assisted the family, adding that the process required time and several rituals.
“We managed to put an end to these strange occurrences which had been happening for some time. During the cleansing rituals, we discovered what appeared to be a goblin hidden in a wardrobe, which we destroyed. However, the cleansing process is still ongoing,” he said.
