The King of Sungura Alick Macheso celebrated Africa Day at 007 club in Glendale where he packed the venue to capacity.
As usual his staunch fan Sekuru Nyangatayani a prominent traditional healer in Glendale was there clad in a gown with national flag colours written “Joy Master Varidzi Vemafaro” and with Macheso's popular chant “Ayaaaaaayah”.
Sekuru Nyangatayani did not disappoint as usual as he dished money to Macheso and his band members.
Orchestra Mberikwazvo chanter Jonas Kasamba and Barnabas Mandipota spiced up the show as they made sure fans were high on their toes throughout the show.
Somandla Ndebele warmed up the stage with bass guitarist Spencer Kumbulani, aka Baba Ashie, proving to be one of the greatest guitarists in the country.
Fans from across Mashonaland Central province and Harare supported the all-night show.
Unlike previous shows, yesterday's show was peaceful as Macheso kept encouraging fans to shun violence.
