Zimbabwe is set to host another major international music event, as Jamaican reggae and dancehall stars Chris Martin and Busy Signal are confirmed to perform for the first time in Kadoma at the annual Kadoma Music Festival on October 11.
The concert will be held at the Odyssey.
While both artists have previously performed in Zimbabwe, this marks their inaugural appearance in the gold mining town of Kadoma.
This continues a trend of international acts gracing the Kadoma Music Festival stage.
Last year’s festival featured Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz, alongside Zimbabwean heavyweights Winky D, Jah Prayzah and Gemma Griffiths.
In 2023, South African sensation Makhadzi headlined the event.
Other notable international performers who have previously played in Kadoma include DJ Tira and Mafikizolo, who were among the first high-profile acts to visit the town.
Chris Martin playfully adopted a Zimbabwean name, Tinashe Tatenda, as he confirmed his upcoming performance.
