Qounfuzed returns with nationwide tour

Qounfuzed isn’t touring alone; he is joined by his longtime friend and fellow musician, Platnum Prince, who has also been away for an extended period.

Zimbabwean musician Qounfuzed, who has been based in the United Kingdom for the past eight years, has announced his return to the local music scene with a nationwide tour.

This marks his first time performing on a Zimbabwean stage in nearly a decade, with his last regional appearance being a show in Lusaka, Zambia, alongside Freeman and Uncle Epaton in February.

The tour, which has already kicked off in Chiredzi, Chivhu, Dzivarasekwa, and Ruwa, is set to reach all corners of the country.

Upcoming stops include Kadoma, Gweru, Kwekwe, Marondera and Masvingo.

The musician is also working on adding shows in Victoria Falls, Mutare, Chinhoyi  and Bulawayo.

Qounfuzed isn’t touring alone; he is joined by his longtime friend and fellow musician, Platnum Prince, who has also been away for an extended period.

“People are excited to see us for the first time in a long time, and I hope it stays the same as we visit other cities and venues,” Qounfuzed said.

“The feeling is amazing, especially after a long time, but obviously, a lot has changed in the industry, and we have to adapt to the new ways of doing business.”

The Shisha hitmaker credits the internet with helping him stay relevant in Zimbabwe while living abroad.

“I tried to maintain my focus on my passion and also be loyal to my loyal fans,” he explained.

“It wasn't easy staying relevant considering I was far from everyone and everything, but thanks to the internet, which kept me updated and connected to my fans and family.”

Qounfuzed has recently been releasing new music, including the tracks Handisisina Moyo, Success, Uchanditsvaga Ndakusada and Zvamanje manje, which features UK-based musician Gee Mac.
