Golden Knot Holdings celebrates 20 years of excellence in style

Speaking to Standard Style Peace Pundu, Group CEO of Golden Knot Holdings expressed her pride in the company’s achievements over the past two decades.

Last weekend, Golden Knot Holdings celebrated 20 years of excellent service across multiple sectors, including legal insurance, real estate, finance, logistics and education with a thrilling event that brought together the community while fostering endurance, and celebration; the RIOT Zimbabwe Harare-Norton marathon.

The partnership between Golden Knot Holdings and Riot Zimbabwe created a platform for over 800 enthusiastic runners to lace up their shoes and hit the pavement, with some vying for qualifying spots in prestigious races like the Comrades Marathon and Two Oceans. The event took place at Rera in Harare, transforming the area into a vibrant hub of athleticism and camaraderie.

Speaking to Standard Style Peace Pundu, Group CEO of Golden Knot Holdings expressed her pride in the company’s achievements over the past two decades.

“Celebrating our 20th anniversary with such a significant event really puts into perspective the impact we have made in various sectors,” she said.

“We are brand for the people and by the people and we are proud of our impact over the years as we continue servicing humanity through our various business lines.

“Even more exciting is that this Harare-Norton marathon aligns with our desire to contribute to the well-being of our people hence partnering with Riot Zimbabwe and other collaborators made this event even more special.”

The group’s chief operating officer, Providence Mugayi, echoed Pundu’s sentiments, emphasizing the importance of community involvement.

“This marathon is not just about running; it’s about bringing people together, fostering a sense of community, and celebrating our shared achievements,” Mugayi said.

“It is cheers to 20 years of excellent service as we gear for an even more rewarding and life-changing era from here on.

“Service remains central to our operations and we want to thank everyone who has made this milestone and the event today possible.”

The RIOT Harare-Norton Marathon was more than just a race; it was a celebration of resilience and determination.

Runners of all ages and backgrounds took part, showcasing their commitment to fitness and health.

The atmosphere was electric, filled with cheers and encouragement from supporters lining the route.

"Congratulations to those who qualified for the Comrades and Two Oceans, and to everyone who crossed the finish line, you are all winners and your participation at this momentous event is testimony to community wellness and fulfilment of your aspirations.

The marathon not only highlighted the physical endurance of the participants but also underscored the power of community collaboration.
