Winky D headlines Fill-Up Bindura concert

Music lovers in and around Bindura are in for a treat as Winky D is set to headline the “Fill-Up Bindura” concert at Bindura Country Club on May 2, promising an electrifying night of music and entertainment.

The event, organised by Chipaz Promotions, brings together a strong line-up of local talent, including Bling4, Feli Nandi, Bagga, and Runna Rules, with support from MC Merciless and DJ Phatchild.

Patson Chimbodza of Chipaz Promotions said the event is part of efforts to take premium entertainment beyond major cities.

“Bindura is ready for a show of this magnitude. We are bringing one of Zimbabwe’s biggest artists together with a diverse supporting cast to give fans a complete entertainment experience,” he said.

“This is about growing the culture and ensuring that quality shows reach every corner of the country.”

Dubbed “Fill-Up Bindura,” the concert is expected to attract fans from across Mashonaland Central province and beyond, highlighting the growing demand for live performances outside traditional urban hubs.

Chimbodza added that the event was carefully curated to appeal to a wide audience.

“We have blended established performers with emerging talent to create a vibrant and inclusive show. Fans should expect high energy, great music, and a memorable atmosphere,” he said.

Gates open at 5pm, with performances running late into the night. Early bird tickets are pegged at US$10 for general entry, US$20 for VIP, and US$50 for VVIP access.

Tickets are available at Chicken Matty and on ticketbay.io.

As Zimbabwe’s live music scene continues to rebound, events like Fill-Up Bindura signal renewed confidence in large-scale concerts, thanks to Chipaz Promotions who are decentralising the local entertainment scene.

Yesterday Winky D headlined the Harris Music Festival in Bulawayo.

The show featured a massive lineup, including Makhadzi, Kamo Mphela and NaakMusiQ.

For Bindura, the show is shaping up to be more than just a concert—it is set to be a major cultural moment celebrating local talent and community engagement.
