Adam Ndlovu dies, Peter battling for life

SOCCER legend Adam Ndlovu this morning died in horror car crash in Victoria Falls, while young brother, the legendary Peter Ndlovu, is battling for his life in Hospital.

Report by Our Staff

The brothers were involved in an accident while travelling to the resort town where they were going for a friendly soccer match pitting the Highlanders Legends and a Victoria Falls team.

An unidentified woman who was traveling with the Ndlovu brothers also perished.

Adam was on the wheels when the BMW X5 owned by Peter burst a tyre, veered off the road, hit several trees and rolled.

Adam and Peter were part of coach Reinhard Fabisch’s Dream Team in the 1990s.

At the time of his death he was the coach PSL side Chicken Inn.

Meanwhile condolence messages have started to pour in.

Sports and Culture Minister David Coltart on twitter said: “I am very sorry to hear of the death of Adam Ndlovu and the injury of Peter Ndlovu. Condolences to the family and I wish Peter a speedy recovery.”

Adam’s close friends, Nhlanhla Dube, a spokesman for the MDC said: “My first phone call today delivered shattering news, horrible, horrible news that my friend and member of the big Highlanders family Adam Ndlovu is no more and that his younger brother Peter is in critical state.”

A sad loss for Zimbabwe. May Adam and his friend RIP and I am praying for Peter.

How many more of our friends and heroes are we going to allow to die on our roads before we do something about them? Compulsory vehicle checks need to be brought in, the roads must be repaired and people must be educated in road safety.

It is a sad sad loss for Zimbabwe to lose one of the hard working sons like Adam. He was doing well as a coach and did well as a player for clubs he played for both in Zimbabwe,Switzerland, Belgium and South Africa. He was a top drawer player for the Dream team and we have been robbed of a promising coach. May his soul rest in peace.

I was just searching for this info for a while. After 6 hours of continuous Googleing, finally I got it in your web site. I wonder what is the lack of Google strategy that don’t rank this type of informative web sites in top of the list. Generally the top web sites are full of garbage.
