Brother In House Zimbabwe gets official launch as show moves to bigger premises

The official launch will formally introduce the 33 housemates to the media, sponsors, invited guests and the wider public, marking a significant milestone for the home-grown reality television production.

Although Brother In House Zimbabwe has already been running for the past two weeks, the country's newest reality television programme will officially be launched on Friday in Harare, with the event expected to be officiated by Tourism and Hospitality Industry deputy minister Tongai Mnangagwa.

The official launch will formally introduce the 33 housemates to the media, sponsors, invited guests and the wider public, marking a significant milestone for the home-grown reality television production.

The launch also coincides with a major development for the programme, which has been relocated to a new and more spacious purpose-built house to accommodate the growing demands of the production and improve the viewing experience.

Produced by Intelligent Excellence Recognition (IER), Brother In House Zimbabwe is a 24-hour reality television show that brings together contestants from diverse backgrounds to live under one roof while competing in tasks and challenges that test leadership, teamwork, resilience and character.

Since the show quietly began two weeks ago, contestants have already started forming alliances, building friendships and navigating the pressures of living together under constant public scrutiny.

Weekly nominations and evictions are determined through public voting.

Organisers said the official launch provides an opportunity for Zimbabweans to meet the contestants while celebrating a production aimed at promoting local talent, culture and the country's creative industry.

"This is more than a television programme; it is a platform that celebrates Zimbabwean talent, resilience and creativity while giving ordinary people an extraordinary opportunity to share their stories with the nation," the organisers said.

Brother In House Zimbabwe is broadcast across digital platforms, allowing viewers to follow the action around the clock while participating through interactive audience engagement and public voting.

Organisers said additional details regarding the competition format, broadcast schedule, voting procedures and sponsorship opportunities will be announced during the official launch.
