THE nominees for the 36th Annual American Music Awards were announced on Tuesday, putting Alicia Keys in the lead for the artist with the most AMA nods —— five to be exact, followed by Coldplay and the Eagles, who scored four each. All three will compete for artist of the year, alongside rapper Lil Wayne and R&B star Chris Brown, who have three nominations each.
