Mkhalipe Village Cries out for Help

I’VE never written to newspapers but I like reading them, especially yours. I wish to raise my deep concern about my home area, Mkhalipe village in Matabeleland South.

Can donors help this area? It is not well represented in parliament; our MP is deadwood. There is no one to help lure investors or initiate development projects. In the early 1990s there was a vibrant goat-rearing project called Maphakela Cooperative. It collapsed due to lack of skills and finance. Ministers should not develop their home areas only. Let’s share the national cake by ensuring all areas are developed.
