Power corrupts absolutely

“MDC-T Matabeleland North province has asked party leader Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai to continue as president until he succeeds in removing President Robert Mugabe from power,” (Zimbabwe Independent, August 6).

Doesn’t this sound familiar? I hoped we would never have such things from this party, but alas, I was wrong. It will be the same song all over again, albeit from another party. God save us all. Power is sweet and corrupts absolutely.
