Ncube wide of the mark on elections

WELSHMAN Ncube is giving all sorts of flimsy reasons why elections should not be held for obvious reasons.

The country needs a substantive government to move forward. Whatever reforms are implemented the threat of violence will not be eliminated altogether. Ncube is an unelected minister who represents nobody but is making decisions which affect us and this is not right. He lost the elections and should revert to being an armchair politician like the rest of us. At present he is using his position as an unelected minister to promote the interests of his small party at the expense of progress. If Ncube had his way we are going to be stuck with the GNU for another 10 years. The election period lasts a few hours and the hullabaloo will be over and then we know where we are and take it from there.
