This revelation comes barely seven months after Macheso married his controversial second wife, Tafadzwa.
The maid has been identified as Adeline Hunidzarira and her family is reportedly divided over her impending marriage to the polygamous musician.
The Standard was informed her sisters once took her away to try and stop the marriage before her father intervened and declared that her daughter should go ahead with the marriage if she so wished.
“The girl should have been married this week Monday but the procedures were postponed to Tuesday since the musician has a couple of shows lined up for the weekend,” the source said.
Hunidzarira is said to be 21 and has been working for the Machesos for almost a year and a half. She hails from Murehwa, Village 44 in Nyamutumbuka area.
The family source alleged that ever since the incident with some of Hunidzarira’s relatives who opposed the marriage, his first wife Nyadzisai was now protective of the maid.
They even took her mobile so that she would have limited communication with her sisters who were against the marriage, the family source said.
When called for comment Nyadzisai said: “The person that you want to talk to went back to Murehwa a long time ago and you can try to call her on her mobile phone.”
