A forthcoming documentary entitled Becoming Chaz follows his transition and has been nominated for three Primetime Emmy awards.
Chaz has also released a book, Transition: The Story of How I Became a Man, released in May, chronicling his journey from female to male.
He currently lives in California with his girlfriend Jenny in a six-year relationship which transformed, along with him, from a lesbian relationship to a heterosexual one.
