Environment
After a long absence from the Zimbabwean market, Automotive Distributor Incorporated (ADI), has brought the Hyundai brand back. The Hyundai brand was re-launched to much fanfare at the Zimbabwe National  Motorshow  on May 13, 2011, and has its permanent home  at the Motor City Complex on Seke Road in Graniteside.

ADI have a fully equipped service centre and genuine parts department. It also boasts a state-of-the-art vehicle showroom in keeping with Hyundai’s worldwide standards.

This is Hyundai’s new dealership in Zimbabwe, and is backed-up by the might of the Hyundai Global Headquarters in Korea.  This means that the local distributor is able to offer world class service in all departments: sales, service and  parts in keeping with  high standards set by Hyundai.

Hyundai has risen to be  the fifth largest automotive brand globally bearing testimony to the quality and value of the vehicles being produced which have received rave reviews in most automotive magazines.

And there’s more — in conjunction with business partners, finance packages are available, offering up to 36-month to pay for all Hyundai models.

“This equates to very affordable motoring, with the Atos for example starting from as little as US$370 a month,” a company spokesman said.“ADI invites customers to go to the Hyundai showroom and choose a model to test drive one of the demonstration fleet.” the spokesman said.

NINE HYUNDAI MODELS TO CHOOSE FROM

The Hyundai showroom is the shop window to Hyundai’s vehicle product’s covering nine different models, all of which are designed to meet the Zimbabwean motorist’s requirements. The models on offer start with the Atos, a five-door hatchback with standard features including electric windows, central locking and air conditioning.

The much applauded Hyundai “i” series” — the i10, i20 and i30 — complete the hot hatch range.  Not only do they boast class leading fuel economies, but also have performance and features normally associated with executive vehicles — air conditioning, electric windows, and central locking being standard on all models.

Safety is also at the forefront of Hyundai’s design team and crumple zones, side impact bars and air bags are also featured.

The flagship Sonata complements the Hyundai passenger range — boasting an array of comfort and safety features, it takes the luxury executive market head on, a segment that has traditionally been dominated by European automotive manufacturers .

The Sports Utility Vehicle, more commonly known as the SUV, has become an increasingly popular segment in the automotive industry and Hyundai is well represented with the award winning ix35 and the Sante Fe.  Both are available in 2 or 4 wheel-drive with manual or automatic transmissions and a host of additional extras and safety features.

The people carrier segment is catered for by the Hyundai H-1 — a nine- seater MPV, available in petrol and turbo diesel derivatives with a range of extras to suit all requirements.  From a commercial aspect, the H-100 Bakkie has become one of the most popular pick-ups in Southern Africa.  With a carrying capacity of 1,3 tons coupled with its large load area, this diesel powered unit makes it an extremely attractive option for the agricultural and business segments.
