KWEKWE – Three people were killed and one was seriously injured yesterday when a Mitsubishi Chariot hit a stationery haulage truck about 15 km outside the city.
Although Midlands’ police could not immediately comment on the matter, officers at the scene said the driver of the Chariot was trying to overtake but was disturbed by oncoming traffic.
The driver reportedly veered off the road while trying to avoid a head on and hit the stationery truck near Kwekwe River. — BY BLESSED MHLANGA
