The event targets all runners, from professional athletes to fun-run enthusiasts, and the Harare Athletics Club (HAC) is assisting with the organisation.
Leopard Rock Golf Resort and Casino is organising a Family Fun Day around the mountain run event, with activities for children, and an evening braai and entertainment for runners, family and friends after prize-giving.
Proceeds from the event will go towards conservation projects in the area, namely the Tikkie Hywood Trust and Wildlife Environment Protection Unit (WEPU) for anti-poaching activities in the Vumba and Leopard Rock is welcoming additional sponsorship from interested companies who’d like to get involved in the event.
Runners wishing to register can do so at Old Georgians on 7 October from 4 to 8 pm.
