BY LESLEY WURAYAYI THE Iranian Clinic of Red Crescent Society (ICRCS) recently donated US$30 000 to the Zimbabwe Red Cross to help fund its operations. Speaking at the handover ceremony, clinic manager Amin Hamidzadeh said the donation will go a long way in helping the organisation fulfill its mandate of providing aid to the vulnerable in society.
“This is just a start for great things yet to come from the Iranian community regarding aid which is in line with strategy 2010, ensuring all Red Cross Society organisations are well-funded so as to fulfill their mandate,” Hamidzadeh said.
