“I must admit that I get a bit nervous at times but I promise to do my best. I will give it my best shot and bring something home. The competition is really tough but I am hoping to outshine others at the final,” she said. She said she was dealing with the pressure by praying.
“I pray frequently and I also read my Bible before I sleep and when I wake up. I know that by God’s grace things will work in my favour,” she said.Morgan further urged all Zimbabweans to pray not only for her but for Mushandu who will also compete on the same day as her. “People should rally behind us so that we bring something back home,” she said.
Morgan successfully auctioned a painting by local artist Farai Chirumiko at the Miss International camp. It was bought for US$5 000.“The portrait showed two children playing hide and seek and this was to show the happiness that Zimbabwean children have,” said Morgan.
